1. What we collect. Business customers: name, business name, email, phone number and account details you give us when you sign up or request a demo. Connected channels: when a business connects its WhatsApp Business account, Facebook Page or Instagram account, we receive through the Meta platform the messages its customers send, the replies, and basic profile details such as name and phone number or account ID. Usage data: technical logs needed to run and secure the service.
2. How we use it. We use this data only to provide the service to the business that owns the account: answering customer messages with our AI assistant, showing conversations in the business's Savannah inbox so its staff can reply, sending order and appointment updates the business requests, and supporting, securing and improving the service. We do not sell personal data and do not use it for advertising.
3. Sharing. We share data only with service providers that host and run the service (such as cloud hosting and the AI model provider that generates replies), with Meta as needed to send and receive messages, or when required by law.
4. Storage and security. Data is stored on secured cloud servers. Access is limited to authorised staff and protected by encryption and access controls.
5. Retention. We keep conversation data while the business's account is active and delete it within 30 days after the business disconnects its accounts or closes its account, unless the law requires us to keep it longer.
6. Data deletion. To delete your data, email business-support@savannah-business.com with the subject "Data deletion request". A business can also disconnect its accounts from the Savannah portal. If you messaged a business that uses Savannah, you can ask that business or email us directly. We confirm your request within 7 days and complete deletion within 30 days.
7. Your rights. You can ask to access, correct or delete your personal data by emailing us.
8. Children. Our service is for businesses and is not directed at children under 13.
9. Changes. We post any changes on this page with a new "last updated" date.
